It sets no cookies, shows no advertising, and builds no profile of you. ## Cookies None. This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in local or session storage. That is why there is no consent banner. ## Analytics Plausible Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics run on the production site. Both are cookieless. They record aggregate page views, referrer, approximate country, device type, and browser. Neither stores an identifier that can follow you to another site. Plausible processes data in the EU. ## Server logs The site is static and hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs including IP address for a short period as part of running the service. Those logs are not queried to identify readers and are not exported. ## The newsletter Run on Buttondown. Subscribing sends your email address to Buttondown, where it is stored so the newsletter can be delivered. It is used for nothing else: no advertising, no sale or sharing, no unrelated mail. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link. ## Embedded content Podcast video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image host, so YouTube receives your IP address and user agent when that image is fetched. Fonts are self-hosted. Outbound links are ordinary links. ## Agents and crawlers Automated clients are welcome and treated no differently. Crawling is permitted for every user agent (see https://denodell.com/robots.txt). Nothing here is gated and no account is ever required. ## Your data The only personal data held directly is the newsletter subscriber list, and only if you joined it.
